locked in a bar

How would you react if you were locked in a bar overnight? Probably not as calmly and rationally as this guy. There's just so much to love about this article - the assumption that Google can solve ANY problem, the quote from the owner's mother, the fact that the guy was drinking until 4AM and still planning on going to work the next day. Hilarious stuff.

i was a bit saddened that getting locked in the bar didn't lead to Narnia. if he ended up eating Turkish delights with the queen, i would totally go to Williamsburg to drink more often.

Is this the dullest new story ever printed? If this was reported in the Armpit, Nebraska, Daily Intelligencer and Bugle it would, in the unlikely event of it ever penetrating beyond the immediate Armpit City Limits, be derided as an example of parochial provincialism. But it happened in trendy Brooklyn! It must be inherently fascinating!

I thought it was a cute story even if the writing was dull. I love his respect for the bar where other more selfish people would've damaged property in a panic. Thanks for sharing!
