an explanation in an anecdote

Last night at 2AM while I was finishing up some freelance work, I started nodding off and falling instantly into dreams from lack of sleep. I was about to write the word "alligator" on the screen, fell asleep for a second, woke up, and had written "octopus" instead. Once I get a grip on things, I'll start blogging again.
