gangbusters
I'm sitting on the concrete walkway of my great aunt and uncle's front lawn, out side of Portland, OR, taking advantage of someone's wifi connection. It's 2AM here (5AM east coast time), and I just finished uploading some changes to the website I've been working on non-stop for the last few days. My life has been completely turned upside down in the past week or so, mostly in good, albeit time demanding ways. For the second night in a row, I'm too tired to sleep. It's amazing how quickly the body can adapt to sleep deprivation and general neglect - I should feel so much worse than I do. The only sound right now is the synthetic waterfall off to my right - one of the perks of a gated community, I suppose. Today my great-uncle used the term "gangbusters," only to be immediately outdone by his friend, who used "honcho" as a verb.
